The Trusted Choice Big "I" National Championship has qualifying opportunities in 42 states, and each year 3,000 young men and women attempt to qualify for the 168 player field. If not exempt, from 2008 you must attempt to qualify through your state of residence. Here are some quick facts about the Big "I" and why YOU should qualify in your state:
- You will be competing with Champions from 42 States in a Natioinal Championship
- Top 10 boys and Top 5 girls eligible by age are exempt into the 2010 Trusted Choice Big "I" National Championship
- AJGA Recognition:
-- Winners of the Trusted Choice Big "I" National Championship are fully exempt with the AJGA--Performance Based Entry
-- Top 5 Boys and Top 3 Girls earn 3 exemptions with the AJGA--Performance Based Entry
-- Top 10 Boys and Top 5 Girls earn 2 exemptions with the AJGA--Performance Based Entry
-- Top 15 Boys and Top 10 Girls earn 1 exemption with the AJGA--Performance Based Entry
- 72-Hole Championship with a cut after 36 holes. Low 54 boys and 27 girls and all ties will make the cut
- Private Housing is a available for all players
- $250 Travel Voucher is available for all players who are exempt
- $150 Entry Fee is paid by the National Committee to all exempt players
- Transportation is provided by the Committee for all players and parents
